You do. Before the auction our team confirms a minimum price with you, and vendors can only bid at or above it. You are never obliged to accept a bid.

You can still sell. Tell our team when they call and we will guide you through closing the loan and removing the hypothecation so the RC can be transferred cleanly.

Yes. Every MotoDealz purchase includes an inspection and a test ride before any payment is made. If a seller ever asks you to pay before you have seen the bike, that is not how MotoDealz works.

Live listings are in the MotoDealz app for Android and iOS. The website shows a monthly showcase only, so what you see here is an example of the kind of bikes vendors list rather than current stock.

What does "verified vendor" actually mean?

A vendor is not simply a registered user. A MotoDealz admin verifies the shop before the account is upgraded to vendor status, and only verified vendors can take part in the bidding sessions where bikes are acquired.

Can I buy directly from the person selling the bike?

No. Every sale passes through a verified vendor. That is deliberate: the verification and the RC-transfer process are what protect both sides, and they only work when someone is accountable for them.

What if something is wrong with the bike after I buy it?

Raise it with the vendor you bought from first. If it is not resolved, contact our team on WhatsApp and we will take it up. Our Grievance Officer details are published on this website.

What is RC transfer, and why does it matter so much?

The registration certificate records who owns the vehicle. Until it is transferred, the previous owner is still the registered owner - which means challans, liability and anything official still point at them. It is the part of a private sale that most often goes unfinished.

The RC, a valid insurance certificate, your ID proof, and both keys. If the bike was bought on finance you will also need the loan closure paperwork.

What if I have lost the RC?

Tell our team early. A duplicate has to be obtained from the RTO before ownership can transfer, and starting that process sooner avoids the sale stalling later.

Keep a current pollution under control certificate with the rest of the file. It is routinely asked for, and an expired one is an easy thing to fix before it holds anything up.
